Hi everyone! I'm Caitlyn: I think we all know each other at least a little from last year, but I'm the one that doesn't talk a lot but probably laughs too much. I like to read, write, jam to music, eat cereal, and overthink just about everything. I also really like to be outside so if you see me just sitting around by myself or walking aimlessly, feel free to say hello. I can be really awkward and shy but I promise I'll be happy to be acknowledged by a friend :)
After a year of being in the animation program here at HU, I've definitely learned a lot and also discovered some of the things I am little more passionate about within the major over other things. I'm obsessed with characters, color, and loved digital drawing, but have found that some of the 3-dimensional and motion graphics side of animation is a little more complicated & frustrating to me. I'm super excited to dive into more aspects of animating this year and practice the things I'm not confident with. But I am SUPER DUPER excited about storyboarding. Ever since I was little I've had a passion for creating and writing stories, and that's always one of my favorite parts of films are the stories they tell. I can't wait to work with you all again this year and to have my mind blown by your amazing creations!
